Parnell Medical Plaza

This new $8 Million Medical Plaza consists of a three-story structure with two-levels of subterranean parking. This structure is located at the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Parnell Avenue in West Los Angeles.

This challenging project was successful due to Reliant’s value engineering for the geotechnical services in addition to a QA/QC program implemented to ensure safety, quality, and on-time project delivery. Very challenging issues related to excavation adjacent to existing residential structures and right-of-way arose.

Reliant provided the geotechnical observation and testing including temporary/permanent shoring, tieback, earth, footing inspection and deputy inspection and materials testing for reinforced concrete, masonry, structural steel erection, welding and related materials testing.
